Faster then the 2500+?

What do u have it overclocked it to?

I'm asking because, i recieved my RMA from AMD for a CPU chippage.

They gave me a 2800+ instead of a 2500+.

I was wondering if it's worth using the 2800+ and overclocking it to whatever?....

Depends on if it's unlocked or not. Mine's a week 20 unlocked 2800+, running stable at 11x200; I haven't been able to push it higher, but I think that's a limit of the board (GA-7N400 Pro 2) more than the CPU.
Even if it's locked, that's not that bad of a CPU for the cost of a 2500+...

i think they have higher probabilities of a higher yield to overclock, but not necessarily better than 2500+
