So, here's the deal. I need help from an NVidia rep, basically anyone who works for the company. I can't really discuss what I need out in the open, so send me a PM if you work for NVidia and can prove it! This is an extremely minor thing (I sure as hell am not asking for your employee discount, for example) that will take a minute or two. Thanks in advance!

you're better off stating your request in the thread, if it's so "minor". And the Nvidia employee will come to you if they want to do you a favor.

Hmm. Well, to put it one way: I'm a dork. I went to one of those T-shirt creation sites and used the NVidia and the SLI logo in my design (the whole shirt is supposed to be an inside joke with some ppl I work with, btw) and they won't print it because of trademarks, but if an NVidia rep gives authorization so to speak, then I get my shirt! It's only a single shirt and it's a one-time type thing, so I thought maybe I could get someone to approve it for me. That's more or less it.

And I'm sure every nVIDIA employee has the authority to give you authorization to abuse their trademarks/logos.

yep, they do.

It's just for fun. no profit is being made and no one is being hurt. I don't see what the big deal is.

1. It's not going to happen.

2. You don't need to speak to a "rep". You need to contact their PR Department and whoever is with the corporate branding (Brand Management - logo police!) section. They are the only people who can give you the real authority to do such a thing. They'll also bring in corporate attorney to review the item in detail to ensure that it in no way could offend anyone - or hurt their corporate image.

Hmm. More trouble than it's worth. Oh well.

Actually, just realized - it may be easier just to DRIVE to NVidia as I'm sure their corporate offices are located within like 15 minutes of my apartment.

Nah, our fun changes to binge drinking and sleeping with women. Printing up t-shirts with computer company logos....well it just doesn't seem "fun". haha

I think binge drinking may have had something to do with the idea of printing up the t-shirt... heh.

hehe, i'm just screwing around. Technically you probably could find someone who would do it....or just do it yourself. But if you want to do it legally, just email them or call.

Yeah, I called them a minute ago and the person I got transferred to thought that was an odd and random question, transferred me to someone else who wasn't at his desk. I just figure there's a nice NVIDIA rep out there somewhere who can help me out, since the T-shirt company I'm dealing with doesn't seem to care who it gets approval from. (but I don't know how they'd verify it, either... hmm.) I suppose I could find a company with less morals/requirements and such but the one I'm dealing with uses a higher quality transfer, plus I've already paid for it (but will get a refund for sure if this doesn't work out)
