you'd think a server could use a super-duper-ultra-wide scsi card in the agp slot. or maybe multiple ethernet cards on a card.

AGP stands for Accelerated Graphics Port for a reason.

just 'cuz it's name contains the words &quot;graphics port&quot; doesn't mean it can't be used for anything else. my sega dreamcast is technically a &quot;game machine&quot; but i'm using it right now as a webserver.

if you read the specification on the AGP slot, it should tell you what you need to know. But the sole purpose of the AGO was for graphics only.
