Any news on the trident XP4?

Has anyone heard anymore on the trident xp4? has it sunk without a trace or is the 0.13 playing them up as well (or have I just missed it completly)

Tell me why you need it... There are way better alternatives right now or just around the corner. For example, the FX5200.

the shared pipeline resources sounded interesting, I wouldnt buy one but that doesnt mean I wouldnt read about one

Trident video cards are kind of sucky... I remember having one back in the day... And I have a built in Trident Cyberblade video in the VIA chipset in my laptop... It sucks sucks sucks!!! No wonder not much is bein heard about Trident.

The Trident XP4 was supposed to be a TI4200-killer for cheapo dinero. Of course, that was at least 6 months ago since we last heard about it. By the time it's released enmasse you could just buy a Radeon 9500 or 9600 for about the same price.

No new news as far as I've found...

Then again, I'm afraid of posting anything I find for fear I'll get flamed the heck out of.... or is that only if it makes nVidia look bad? :Q
