Any news on the 2407?

It seems like no one is interested in finding out more info about the upcoming 2407. But I find that hard to believe! So does anyone know of any tentative release dates? Are there going to be new features other than HDCP?

No one's interested because they dropped the inputs on the 3007, and I believe they planned on doing the same on the 2407. If they really did, Dell is screwing up majorly for the people that use these monitors.

I could have sworn I read it somewhere, but I could be wrong. Lemme see if I can find it (even if I'm wrong, them leaving them off the 3007 was just assinine. I was told the reason for doing it was that they would have had to use a different panel and that it would have increased the cost by 33%...personally, I'd pay the premium for it if it meant having HDCP and the inputs).

completely agree...

my hope is that MS makes a dvi cable for it and i can someone figure out how to run tv into it from an external source
