Any news on Deneb lately?

As the summary says, I may need to build another quad soon-ish (within a month or so).

Have there been any news out of AMD re: possible releases of their 45nm quads? I may be able to stall the build into the middle of October or so...

This box won't need to OC much past 3 ghz -- but will be on 24x7 with at least one core loaded at all times so the current 65nm Phenoms are non-starters. If I can't get there from here I'll just get another X3210 or 6600 now.

According to these guys Deneb is gonna smoke the current gen Intel procs.

Their claims seem to be a bit outlandish though. I think if AMD would have their current gen chips performing better if Deneb is going to be running stock at 4.0ghz.

OP: Some time this fall, but I don't believe there's a firm date yet. Unless you feel like waiting around only to find out that it performs about the same as Intel's current lineup, just buy Intel's current lineup now.

Comprable to current lineup is fine by me, with roughly equivalent OCd price/performance I'd rather throw money at AMD for fanboy reasons. Thanks, I couldn't find anything reasonably fresh on the net myself -- hope it's a quiet before a storm rather than silence of the grave. =)
