hi there

about a month ago, it was unadvisable to buy a 15" Powerbook because there were words that Apple would soon replace it with a newer model.

I'm looking to buy a cheap low-end 12" iBook. Is there be anything similar in development? I'm in no rush, so I can afford to wait if something newer and better comes along in the near future
 
You never know with apple.

You could wait and end up waiting 6 months or more, or get something now and have them release something new next month.
