Any Newegg users sign up for Shoprunner?

I keep seeing this on the Newegg website and decided to look into it.

It appears to be similar to Amazon Prime. Everything ships 2nd day for free with a 79 dollar yearly fee

Has anyone tried it? I was wondering if it uses UPS like the 3rd day shipping option at Newegg? Is it available on most items?

Every year around Christmas they keep giving me a free year, this is my 2nd free year and I don't use it often (1-2 times per month)

But for free it's great, it also gives free delivery on dominos pizza which saves you $2 every time you order.

I got a free 6 month trial on shoprunner about a year ago. Then I got a free extension. I guess my subscription is about up. I think they still give them out for free occasionally.

Problems with shoprunner: It's not guaranteed 2 days from order. It's 2 day shipping with 0 - 3 days standard on assembling and getting your order out the door. Can't remember which carrier was used. I think I got FedEx ground from NJ when I ordered.

As for what's available for shoprunner: Most things are. Most cases aren't. I couldn't figure out any sort of pattern. My guess is that items housed at Newegg warehouses are, and drop shipped and/or heavy items aren't.

shoprunner is now free with costco amex card holders.
i still havent used it yet. everything i buy from the Egg ships free anyway.

Got one year for $1 on a donation special. Then when that ended they gave me another year for free. It works on most items.

got it for christmas free last year. IMHO not worth anywhere near 80 bucks. But it is nice to get stuff from newegg in 2 days. also pizza too

I have it and it works as advertised. I got it for $1 for the first year. Renewed for a second year for $29 and that got extended for another year for having an Amex. I like it but I wouldn't pay $79 for it. Only site I use it even semi regularly is newegg as that's one of the few vendors they use I buy from.

I signed up for a trial to get free shipping on a large item, then canceled. I appreciated that, when asking me why I canceled, they had a choice labeled "I never intended to extend my subscription," or something like that.

I have shoprunner just because an Amex promo has it free for a year. I don't think I've actually used it yet, but plan to give it a shot. The issue for me was that although it provides free 2 day shipping, it doesn't give you the option to overnight at a discounted rate like Amazon Prime does. I needed something next day and had to pay the high charge to do it.

I just ordered another Dell S2340L from Newegg this morning, should be here tomorrow thanks to Shoprunner. Usually my 2-day shipping from their TN warehouse via Shoprunner gets here in 1 day.

I'm on my 2nd FREE year of it.

Also, Shoprunner gets you free delivery from Dominos Pizza, just fyi. You're still going to want to tip the dude though.

Dominos charge for delivery in your country? Pizza delivery has always been free in the UK.

I've had it for free for the last 2 years, I use it all of the time. I've saved a ton of money.

I don't know how they make any money, I've never heard anyone say that they paid for it.

I actually have 2 free accounts now because I created a new one on a slickdeals link, then realized they automatically renewed my 1st one for a 2nd year for free. I don't have my credit card info in either account, so I don't know why they let me renew for free again.

I got it for free a couple of years ago and they keep renewing me for free for some reason. You also get no delivery fee for Domino's for what it's worth...stupidest fee next to Ticketmaster's "convenience fees".
