Any new thinkpads in the works?

Anyone have the scoop on any new models of thinkpads coming out in the near future?

I think your best options for news on Thinkpads are either going to http://forum.thinkpads.com/ and or shooting a PM to fbrdphreak, he runs LaptopLogic and likes Thinkpads he has helped a lot before and I am sure he wouldn't mind giving you info about upcoming models if he knew of any.

First clue should be the Intel Santa Rosa launch... You'll see updated models from all vendors once INtel makes that chipset officially available for manufacture.

i agree. been looking for a new laptop, and should've bought it a few weeks ago when there was a stackable 15% off coupon at lenovo......the deals right now aren't as good as it was 2-3 weeks ago. with the talks about the new chipset in may, i figured prices on the laptops with the current chipset will go down as they clear them out to make room for the new santa rosa.
