Any New LCD"s Coming Soon?

Narrowed my search down to HP W2207 ( glossy I know ) and an LG226WTQ-BF, both to be had $300 or less right now. But these appear to be almost year-old models. So are there any firm announcements of newer models coming out in the next month or so? What new innovations can be expected this spring in the 20" to 24" lineups but still staying <$400?

I do mostly surfing, spreadsheets, some family video editing ( not professional ).

I think W2207 is TN based and many review sites have criticized it for poor color accuracy. I'm pretty sure the biggest innovation is that we'll see LCDs with a wider color gamut this year.

I'm waiting and waiting for a 1080p 22" monitor. 24" is too big for me but I want 1080p. The Lenovo L220X is the only one right now but it's hard to find gaming reviews, input lag and availability is bad as well.
