Faster LCD displays possible

Organic displays are all the rage in R&D labs now... Read somewhere that a production unit would probably come out in 5 years if i'm not wrong.

Small organic displays are already used; for example as displays on CD-players and car-stereos.
It will take a few more years before you can buy an 19" organic display that you can fold and put in your pocket..

About a year ago i believe fully-optical multiplexers were just being introduced by lucent/nortel/whoever

edit: though i don't know if they work on this suspended-liquid principle, i always imagined they used crystals & mirrors to manipulate the light...

oragnix displays should provide for some interesting designs imagine the blueprint that can change, or maybe apply it has a table top that changes designs, and displays anything you want
