Any New CPUs Coming for Socket 1366?

Are there any new CPUs with faster frequencies slated for release for the socket 1336? The fastest I see right now on newegg is 3.33

Do you mean socket 1366...? I dont think so its a dead end but with second gen I7 there is a socket 2011 coming but for now socket 1155 is the ticket... But also Bulldozer is around the corner but thats a coin toss as to how it will perform no one really knows for sure just yet...?

There's an i7 995x coming out, but then after that 1366 is completely off the roadmap.

I would not suggest buying into it, and would save money for BD or LGA 2011.

Yea wonder how much that puppy will cost...? Seems kinda pointless with the Zeon line...?

Well, it'll cost $999, as always with the extreme editions. And what do you mean "pointless with the Xeon line"? Do you mean the upcoming LGA 2011?
