I'm getting pretty sick of shitty battery life on my phones and laptop and current electric cars. Anything better than lithium?

no kidding, when are they going to shrink a reactor enough to have nuke powered phones, would be epic never to need to charge your phone.

Graphene Lithium-Air is a very nice extension to existing tech. Increasing density and decreasing costs is always a safe bet. However, many obstacles are still in the way.

Miniature fuel cell technology may be the ticket for a jump, but there are some incremental increases in Li-Ion using nano technology and organic molecular improvements on that technology.

I'm pretty happy with lithium. Just think, we mainly used NiCd 10 years ago.

for cell phones , not really anything on the horizon. Power use is going down though so expect longer time off existing batteries.
