I'm an NRA member and I find it insulting that you associate all liberals with anti-gun activism. That being said, many liberals are anti-gun.
 
my political science professor in college, when asked by his housemate why he is an NRA member: "of course i have a gun, i'm a democrat in texas"

edit: and, technically, gun grabbing is antithetical to liberals.

My dad's in the NRA, and I've considered it a few times. It's mainly a function of getting into a financial situation where I'm not impendingly tight.

I think abortion should be legal, I think the war in Iraq was misguided, and I have plenty of other "liberal" beliefs, but none of them have any bearing on my opinion on guns.

I'm a member as well as Concealed Carry Licensed. However I do not own any guns. I like guns and all I just haven't been motivated enought to put resources into guns. Got too many other hobbies that eat up my surplus cash. Hot Deals doesn't help either. Need a Hot Deal on some guns.
