I just got my PSAT scores back today, looks like I have a very good shot at being at least a finalist. Anyways, what kind of benefits would I get if I was a finalist (I doubt I'll actually get a National Merit Scholarship) Anyone get their tuition paid for?

I was a National Merit Semi-finalist and it definitely helped with scholarship money.
The higher you go, the more money they'll give you.

I wish they paid for full tuition! I got a National Merit Scholarship and I get $2000/year from Johns Hopkins.

I am a semi-finalist right now from last year's PSAT... personally, I don't think it's all that some people make it out to be. If you're looking at selective colleges many of them won't give you anything for being a national merit semi-finalist, finalist, winner, whatever -- they don't care because so many people that apply have that status, so it's nothing special. It's pretty good though if you want to go to a state school or something less selective. That's my take, anyways. I don't think we hear if we made it to the next round til like March.

i am semifinalist currently...sybren is correct, but if you want a free ride at many public universities, it is fantastic...since the two schools I'm mainly interested in are Univeristy of Texas & Texas A&M, its looking good for me.

This is a bit off topic, but how do I look up my PSAT score from this year on the Collegeboard.com web site once I'm logged in? I heard it's possible to do so, and I haven't got my score mailed to my door yet.

I would have been a National Merit Scholar but turned the schaloarship down and didn't go to college right after school. Long story, don't ask. Don't ask what I scored, (14xx something maybe), it was a long time ago.
