My current ridable bike is an '83 v45 Honda Interceptor. Bought it new
Have a 73 Norton 750 , a 72 BMW R75/5 and have title to another 72 Norton 750 which maybe i'll get on the road after I finish the frame up re-build on the 73. Also have a Honda Trail 90.

Killrose, are both of the 750 Snorton's "Commandos" ? Those were awesome. Had a friend buy one new in '73.

First M/C I had was a 1967 BSA LIghtening. Next was a 750 Honda, 1977 Harley 74" LowRider, 1979 Harley Sportster, 1979 Honda CBX (What a beast!), 1978 Suzuki GS1000, 1980 GS1100 dragbike, 1984 Harley Superglide, and am now restoring a 1973 Honda CB350-4. Have had at least 10-12 dirt bikes and quads.....

HAd a buddy who had a Seca, but I think it was a 750?

Sirporl, if that Honda 50 is a "Z" model from the early 70's, hang onto it, as they are worth a few bucks.....

Some cool bikes mentioned in this thread. The honda interceptors are some mean rides. I googled a gs500 and they look pretty cool.

Quite the assortment of bikes Cardiac. My 50 is a "z" but is of mid 80s vintage. I am still amazed that I was never seriously hurt on that thing. Good times....good times :D

All those have been over a span of the last 30 years or so. I also had a Honda Trail 70 back in like '71 or '72. Sure wish I still had it, as they are getting a bundle of cash for them...

I was looking at the 650r from Kawi. Nice bikes. I need to take a look at the FZ6 from yammie. I really like my Seca, I just wish it was fuel injected. Air cooled and carbed takes forever and a day to warm up.

I agree with the F snow comment, I really miss riding the beast.

Yep, both are Commandos. The '73 I bought from the second owner, he greeted me at the sale with a broken leg  I paid $1 a CC for it and it had a new tank on it and some sorta a shorty mufflers, but other than having maybe a bit over 20k it looked ok. That was in late '76 or early '77 not sure.

TL1000S... GS500's are great bikes... I think I've had my best motorcycling experiences on an 89 GS500. Went from a couple GS500's to an 05 636.. then a 675 (I don't care what the reviews say... worst bike I've ever owned) to this TLS. I haven't had the TL long but so far I love it! (it's been converted to a naked bike with 'normal' bars and the old style large round headlight making it nice and comfy!)

MixMaster How do you like your FZ6? I have been trying to find one at a shop around here to check out. I like the looks of it and on paper it has some awesome specs. Haven't found much on reviews for it though.

I like it quite a lot, it's pretty sporty and has decent power, but you set in a more comfortable position so you can easily do a lot of long distance rides on it if you want. There are a lot of good reviews and comparisons to other bikes on the Sportbikes.net forums.

The Summer I had a 95 Honda VFR750 but I ended up trading it in for a sweet deal on a 2002 Suzuki Bandit 1200s!
