Any month to month housing around the west Phoenix area?

I have a brother in law who is moving from Salt Lake to take over a job in the Goodyear / Glendale area. He's looking to rent a place for a month or two until he can purchase a home in the area. He would like it furnished if possible like an excutive suite apartment or an extended stay hotel. Anyone know of any places that's not too expensive and are somewhat nice?

Most apartment complexes will not let you go month to month. They usually require you to sign a lease. I think he might be best off looking at craigslist ads for housing and finding someone who doesn't mind that he will only be renting for such a short period of time. Most people are looking for stability (probably at least 1 or more years), but I'm sure there's someone out there that would let him rent for a few months.
