Any modem experts care to help me choose between two similar v.92 modems?

I haven't needed a modem for some time.

I've got both of these modems laying around...and I need a modem for a Christmas gift PC I'm building. Which one is the better one? They seem pretty close to the same.

Its very important that they do call-waiting so calls can get through while you're on the internet. But I think that since they're both v.92 that they both do that anyway.

Take your pick as they are pretty much the same but the ISP has to support V.92 protocol for call waiting to work ...

I had good results with a BestData PCI HCF V.92 modem based on the Rockwell/Connexant chipset. I could get phone calls while I was online, and if I kept it really short, I could get back online using the same connection. I was using Juno as the ISP, Juno/NetZero/UnitedInternet were the first major nationwide ISP to support V.92 including MOH. The downside was that was a "soft firmware" modem, and sucked up CPU cycles. Only cost me $10 though. My external V.Everything gives better connects, but USR never released an updated V.92 firmware for the older models. 🙁
