any Milwaukee ATOTers going to OPETH tonight?

No, I lost my teen anger/hate and stopped rebelling against the world at about 18. It still beats the teen depression/suicidal tendencies of the emo craze though.

Clearly, you've never even listened to Opeth.

It was a choice between Sigur Ros and Opeth for me on Wed in Chicago.. I chose SR because Opeth without Peter and Martin just isn't Opeth 🙁

Unfortunate, but true. IMO, they are still good, but not nearly as great as they used to be.

But woe is me. The last few days, including Wednesday, I've been incredibly sick. So even though I wanted to go, I could not. 🙁

it was a great show. Opeth played a TWO HOUR set.

High on Fire was the opening act, they were pretty awesome too.

THere were two other stages in the side bars with local metal bands - they were great too. and Buckethead was upstairs playing at the same time.

Wish I could. The only bad thing about living in New England is good metal concerts are hard to come by, and when they do come they're in fvcking Massachusetts. Yuck.
