Yeah, I used to like Genesis too, until Phil Collins ("nasty, whining little git" to quote a UK comedian) spoiled things.

I have their self-titled album on cassette somewhere. Haven't listened to them in years. Thought they were pretty good back then. Just how many albums did they end up having?

Paul Young (no, the other Paul Young (Aussie, I believe)) died.

I'm a huge Genesis fan and I like them somewhat.

I like the first one, The Living Years, and Beggar on a Beach of Gold. Another Cup of Coffee is a great song.

 
am i the only person that found it strange that this thread would be posted on Fathers day and the OP didn't mention The Living Years (a song about his FATHER).

Same here. I always think about a family member who died of Cancer. A person whom I really never got to say "i love you" to. *kicks self*
