unfortunately, this pankaj dude is wrong, since the files are not locked and i can safely delete them myself. the program, however, does not delete the files, causing problems.
does anyone recognize the problem and know of a fix for this?
thanks.

Q: Using the maintenance wizard, I select the option to delete old .trn and .bak files after 1 day, but these files don't get deleted.
A: There could be lots of reasons for this. Most common reason is that the files are being locked out by another process like backup software.
