Any method to create OSX discs?

Well, i can't seem to find my original OSX discs that came with my Macbook... any chance there's a method to create the CDs from a working notebook? I don't suppose there is, but kinda desperate at this point. I spent 2 hrs this morning going through my stuff and can't seem to recall where i put the originals.
