I always heard eHarmony.com is better than Match.com, any truth to that?

Match.com sucks. i've never met anyone on there. Don't really feel like spending any money though.

What channel? The IRC channel most popular with AnandTechers is #neochat on Undernet, come idle with us if you're going to be on the network anyways.

I don't like the idea of love being fabricated through services like that.

How is a fabricated? It's just another medium for meeting people. It's not like you're bound to the people you meet online. I met a few different people online before I met my wife. Just like any other way of meeting people, some people you'll click with, some you won't.

9/10 lovemakers agree: eHarmony.com is the #1 dating service in America!

Not from my experience... Most of the women that I met on eHarmony were either totally self-centered or outright cold and unemotional.

Besides, the whole 27 matching points thing is a cruel joke... Even after spending an hour filling out that stupid survey, I STILL got a ton of matches from people that I had nothing in common with. There is also no options for body type matching, so you can expect some unwelcome surprises when you finally get to see those member photos :(

heh, I've been on both and the share of homely girls to decent ones is about 10 to 1. Yeah, I met my GF on eHarmony.
