Any manufacturers make cables in small and incremental lengths?

my goal is to have all the cables in my case just the right length.

belkin and the ones i am looking at it seems like the shortest ones are usually over a foot long.

i need ones like 5 inches and less for an sata cable, for example..

am i going to have to make my own to achieve this?

lolol funny GY  hmmm...a sh!t sata cable? they all look like cr_p to me anyways...I say go for it citizen...get the 6"

I think that SATA cables are a specific length for a reason. Maybe the same reason that an ATA133 HDD won't work with a 10" cable. Maybe has something to do with attenuation at higher transmit speeds.
VANTEC makes ROUND 10" Floppy cables and 18"&24" Round IDE , 1 & 2 device cables. I don't know if custom lengths are available.

Lemme give you a piece of advice.

Shhhh, very secret.

The "interconnect" cables sold for hundreds at pro audio shops...
... and...
The "gold RCA" cables sold for $10 at Radio Shack...

... won't sound any different.

Shhh, don't tell anyone.

Don't know about SATA cables but I've read that ATA100 cables "should" be a minimum length and have a specific ratio of lenth between connectors. However, manufacturers sometimes do not follow these recommendations. Does it matter? Dunno. I do know that "odd length" cables often work just fine.
