Any Mac tech forums? (and a pic of my new system!)

Just picked up a G3/233 and I'd like to know a little more about the guts of it, and of my OC and upgrading options. Any good mac tech forums or is that an oxymoron? :p

ars has a mac forum
macrumors.com
macosx.com I think has some forums

There are a few Mac users around the forums here. Too bad there are too many x86ers with undying love for their architecture...

You can overclock a Mac?

I wouldn't mind having a G3 case, those things sure do open nice. ;)

Want my iMac? It's not a contemporary G3 case but it does have a G3/233 processor with a HUGE 4GB hard drive and imposing 4MB VRAM.

$999 and it's yours, USD funds only please :D

Well, g3 cases are different. I assume you are talkign about the blue/white cases. I'd love to have one but there is a hefty price premium for them. I got

this system off ebay. I thought it was a decent deal considering I can turn around and resell the scanner and the zip drive + disks, which I dont need. It has 416 MB RAM (odd number, I know) and a 30 gig HD and he's also gonna sell me a PCI IDE controller @ ata/66 for $30 that will let me take advantage of the drive's higher speed.

If not, do you know what's the cheapest used mac that will ?

As the link says, I think this is about it. You can get a desktop system that will run it and pay a bit less but you lose the expandability of the tower.

As for slow as a dog :p, Im only gonna use this for one purpose, to burn Mac compatible CD's for sending out my portfolio. I tried for weeks to come up with a PC based solution but realized it would be easier just to buy a cheap mac, throw a $50 32x burner in it, get toast, and burn them in a mac-native enviroment. That way I can ensure that they will work properly.

After Im done I think I'll be able to easily resell it for at least what I paid for it.

I've tried forever and posted multiple tech-support questions reqarding this, and I still have not gotten it to work. It doesnt matter now since the system is on its way...but for what I was trying to do, doing it on a PC was not working.
