Any luck with Promise Ultra 100 and Zips/Optical drives?

According to Promise, this card can handle optical drives and ATAPI Zip drives, and I'd like to keep that flexibility. I'd also like to keep my hard drives on the motherboard, since it supports ATA/133 and the card is only ATA/100. Problem is I have 3 hard drives, 2 optical, and a zip. I may only hook up 2 of the HD's but that would still leave me 1 spot short. I'm not too concerned about the performance of the Zip, but if I did end up hooking up an optical, I would want to make sure its performance wasn't compromised.
 
Your internal zip drive would also be okay when attached to the promise controller. I know this for a fact as that is how I attach my zip drive.
