By now i've got close to 300 divx files, most of which are burned to CD and i haven't even watched. I'd like to transfer a few to a 512MB SD card for my toshiba E750 PPC.

I know it can run the video fine, but it's just such a pain to constantly take each divx file, open it with Vdub, manually reencode it with a ppc resolution, and then transfer the output to the card.

Anyone know a program or script to just select a file and automatically generate a ppc-version on the SD card? Or even in a folder that i can move to the card?

Edit: Found Solution--

For those of you who are also reading this and asking the same question, i did some research and found a pretty good solution.

This page has a freeware program called "Pocket Divx Encoder," one of the fastest available encoders that automates a lot of the processes. I can save settings into a file so that all i have to do is select a source, settings, and hit go. It also has the ability to create a queue to process so that you can encode several files while you're asleep.

Files play flawlessly on my 400Mhz Toshiba E750 Pocket PC using the "BetaPlayer" found here. Again, a freeware program. I was surprised that this player actually is more advanced than MVPPlayer. The videos look REALLY good using maximum settings (note: slower PPCs will have a hard time playing them with max settings), but they take up over 400 megs each, so i'll have to find a happy medium between space and quality.
