Any luck overclocking a Duron 800

Is anybody havieng any luck overclocking a duron 800? I have did the pencil thing and as soon as I start taking it up it locks. I am using a Abit KT7-raid and a chrome orb for cooling.

sounds like you didn't get enough graphite on to close the bridges properly!

Yep, redo the pencil trick. A Duron 800 should oc to ~950- 1100 mhz with 1200 a remote possibility. Good luck

alternatively, you can use Loctite rear window demister repair solution to close the bridges but it requires more care & attention than the pencil trick.

Use another pencil... I used 3 pencils before going to a trusty No. 2 Dixon Ticonderoga and it worked. I use the Loctite stuff now but I was too anxious to wait then.
