Any Logitech Z-680 owners out there?

What is the optimal set up to take advantage of the Z680 's? I noticed the speakers have digital coaxial and optical inputs. Which sound card(s) has this feature? Will optical result in the highest quality 5.1 sound?

Digital will only be better if a) you've got a blinding DAC and b) the rest of your equipment is good enough to let you hear the difference.
