Any listing that shows cable connector types?

Hopefully, someone can help me with this. I have a collection of 15 or so years of various cables. There are some connectors on them that I just don't know what they are. Is there any website that will show connectors and what they go to?

Hard to do as certain connectors are used in multiple applications (esp. D-sub multipin). In some cases you'd have to know which pin on one end is connected to which pin on the other end to figure out the purpose. I suppose you could post pix of the connectors on both ends like they do on some reseller sites and we could try any that you can't finger out yourself. See how much easier it would have been had you labeled them when you knew what they were for?.. ;-)

Just to add to what Zepper pointed out, what you see here are about 20 years worth of cables. This the closet of my computer room. I put up a board across the wall, and then put lots of nails in that board, and there are scads of cable hanging there. There are USB, Firewire, SCSI, Serial, Parallel, Video, Power, SATA, Printer, Modem, Erthernet, plus some I can't think of. My wife says they breed at night and multiply. 🙂

Cables

But, over time, I have gotten to know them all, and usually can find one that can answer a requirement.

So, maybe you can use this as an opportunity. 🙂

You could go to the ghetto and sell them as a weave
