Any Linux experience with an Abit AT8?

I really like what i am reading about the Abit AT8 board, here at AT and elsewhere. It is at the right price, the right feature set and best of all: it is completely silent.

Now I was wondering how well the board is supported in Linux. Specifically Ubuntu (Dapper Drake will probably be out by the time I get the board so lets assume I will be using that). How is the driver support for sound, LAN, SATA etc... I will be going with an Nvidia graphics card specifically because I am tired of the misbehaving FGLX ATi graphics drivers and would rather use an Nforce4 Ultra board if they were silent, simply because Nvidias track record with the penguin is just so much better. But I place a higher value on a quiet PC than on a Linux capable PC - those are my priorities...

So has anybody tried this board (or any other board with the ATI RD480 / ULi chipset combo) with Linux? If not where else should i perhaps ask (aside from the Ubuntuforums, which I will do).

I've seen it in a lot of sigs on Linux forums, so I'll bet support is pretty wide and it's a popular board. Nvidia's onboard ethernet is said to have some problems sometimes, though (not sure if it uses nvidia or not).
