My friend has to fly in the next month or so, and with all the talk about the "heightened terrorist threat" against the US, she is kind of freaked out about it. She lives in Hoboken, and so she watched the 2nd plane crach into the WTC, etc., so she is just having a lot of fear about flying right now.
I've told her that it is safer to fly now than it was before, but she's still scared. Does anyone have any "positive" links or articles about how safe it is to fly now with the "improved security measures" in place, etc.? Even she knows she is being a bit irrational, but she can't help it.
Any info or links would be helpful. (And please, don't move this into a discussion of politics or anything like that right now... 😛 )
