If I volunteer to provide a free service to the public(via web page), but do not carry it out or give incorrect information, can there be any sort of liability on me? If I do not do it for a charge, and do not claim the information to be my own, but rather just state that I am just searching online, is it okay?
something as simple as:
finding food recipes
or
recommending computer parts, etc etc.
