Any legitimate and inexpensive way to get a Win7HP-Pro anytime upgrade key?

Bought a 32GB RAM kit like a moron and forgot HP only supports up to 16GB. I have one program I need that isn't compatible with 10. I checked the usual places but they're either ridiculously expensive or not available. MS no longer sells them via the OS, either.

An upgrade key? No. You can get a full retail copy of Windows 7 Pro though and do a clean reinstall.

Or you could upgrade to 10 and run that one lone app in a Win7 VM. Windows 10 has a watered down version of HyperV built right into it. Wouldn't cost you a dime and would hold you over until you can shed yourself of that app (or they update it).

I'm going to try the 10 option to start with, looks like I can get a Pro OEM for ~50 bucks if necessary.

Thanks for the info!

Edit - Grr, 10 Home doesn't have HyperV.

Got a Windows 7 Pro license. :D 32GB RAM support, and I can run PowerProducer in an XP virtual machine and actually update Radeon drivers! 8)
