It used to be that if you lived in the Las Vegas valley; you could do sports betting online.

Had to have a local IP.
OR setup a proxy.

Did that when traveling - connect to home and from there to the casino book website site.


Have your Dad take a vacation down to the Med and get his fix over a week.

True - you can lose 17 times in a row at a casino, but at least you get to watch the wheel spin. In online roulette you don't even have that; you have a "virtual wheel" spinning, and so who knows if the results are truly random or not - you can't see the code behind the software, so you don't know.

Pretty much gambling online is setting yourself up for a loss. If you're going to toss your money away, at least give it to your kids or to a charity.

it's random but statistically you lose money so it doesn't matter if you can't see the code. You already know it's wasted money.

Doing it online is stupid though, it means you're addicted.
