any leadtek winfast 2000 owners?

I gotta say, I've noticed the software sucks. It used the same chip as my last tv card (didn't realize that...) and my old software worked with it.. and I left it.

Eventually got around to using the winfast software, but noticed it sometimes "lags"..... I've tried killing all processes, but it only helps a little.

Any thoughts?

I just started noticing that recently too... not sure why. It always crashed for me until I reinstalled Windows and then *didn't* use the software on the CD, but the lastest version from the site.

Anyway... there's probably an update, but I don't want it to end up not working again.

I use my TV2000 XP Deluxe mainly for recording shows in MPEG format, and haven't noticed any kinda of lag problems. I've always tried to use the latest version from Leadtek's site, though.

What CPU and how much memory u got ?????

But my picture has vertical streaks acrosss the screen...
Haven't been able to get rid of it..
any idea what I can do ???

No lag problems, but mine has problems with getting a clear signal on some stations.

I've got the Expert version and I like the software that came on the CD. It just works better and is easier to deal with than Hauppage's. Also, I don't get lag on this card but I did on my PVR-250 (which annoyed me so I switched back).
