I'm moving soon and need to reorganize the ol computer setup. I'd like to finally get rid of my last CRT - a very reliable Sony G400. I currently have a Dell 2405fpw and a crappy old analog Samsung 17" and am lookingto replace the Sony with a 21" LCD panel.
Being into graphics and video rather extensively, I'm having some troube finding "quality" reviews on LCD panels. Most sites like PCWorld and other ZDnet stuff just ain't gonna do it. I should say that the 2405fpw definitely doesn't cut it. If you own one - just go into your favorite graphics software and lay down a grayscale white-black gradient from one corner of the screen to the other. The banding is ridiculous!
So I'm looking for articles on a 4:3 ratio 21" LCD so it can match the height of my 2405fpw.
