Any late-90's Range Rover (4.0 and 4.6) owners in here?

Considering the 96-99 Range Rover (4.0 and 4.6). Looking for some feedback from current or previous owners. Anything you have to say on ride quality, capabilities, and most importantly, what maintenence was like on it.

There are some good deals locally on them (eg: currently looking at a 96 4.0 w/46k for $13k).

Please, I'm not looking for opinions/flames from people that have no experiences with this vehicle.

i have first hand experience, they break down easily and the parts for them are expensive. what else would you like to know. my uncle had one and it spent more time at the dealer than on the road.
