I checked IBM and Dell and they don't have one. Any manufacturers using this yet?

IBM's Thinkpad T42 line has it, and they probably have more models in other lines. Dell's Inspiron 8600, Inspiron 600m, Inspiron 700m and comparable Latitudes feature it as well. How did you miss all these models in your search? Keep in mind that a lot of laptop vendors are afraid to go with the new Intel numbers alone, because customers are so used to seeing Ghz ratings on Intel chips. Melchior is correct when he says that the 755 is the 2.0 Ghz Dothan. As far as I know, all the big vendors have laptops featuring the 755, sometimes many models.

Doesn't appear to be available on the IBM site - either under Home/Home Office or Small & Medium Business. Do see that the T42 (T42p mentioned specifically, but perhaps other T42 variations) supports the 755; however, only see the 745 in any of the available configurations.

Model numbers appear to be the 2373KTU (14.1 SXGA+) and the 2373KXU (15" UXGA).

Thanks Tim, you seem to be very helpful at SFF/Notebook forums :)

I just saw Intel's coming up with 2.13GHZ w/ 533mhz FSB in Q1-2005 :( I wonder how much better the 2.13G533FSB will perform compared to the 2.0G400FSB?

Boss....

Call the IBM 800 # and talk to a rep.

Their website does not show all the models they have available for sale. They have the 2.0Ghz.

I have the HP/Compaq NC8000 and it's great. For some reason though, they don't offer the 2.0Ghz P-M in anything but the nc4010.

No way I'm paying that. Crazy. Where did you get this info by the way?
Nearly all the information posted above is extracted from the IBM ThinkPad T42p product page, which can be found by searching the IBM site for the model number(s) posted previously in my earlier reply (should be the first search result). Also, be aware that above quoted price (as shown in the specification link above) is the "IBM List Price", which could be likened to an automobile MSRP. One can certainly find the same machine for less than the list price.

I got a sealed boxed Pentium M 755 cpu off ebay for 400 bucks and installed it in my laptop myself.
You arent necessarily limited to only what the manufacturers offer if you are so technically inclined...:D
