Any laptops with matte touch screen yet?

Does anybody know of good laptops with a matte (anti-glare) touch screen? If so, please list them here. I have a Dell XPS 13" with touch screen which is useful, however the light reflection on it drives me crazy. Or is it technically not possible to make touch screens that are anti-glare?

Touchscreens today require a smooth surface like glass or plastic for capacitive touch to work. Any uneven material over it to create an anti glare matte looks would just hinder it.

So matte touchscreen does not exist (yet)?

You would think that they would try to come up with a solution for that since using a reflective screen in a room with lights or near a window with daylight is extremely frustrating.

It most likely comes down to the huge drop in popularity from touchscreens on laptops overall. I never used the one on mine and never met someone who cared about theirs either. It was just a way of smudging up your big display and not easy to wipe off like a phone. So instead of developing the technology further it is actually being dropped from most laptop lineups.

I use the touch screen on my XPS quite alot when setting in my couch and it's very usefull for scrolling and tapping certain things. Regarding smudging, you could say the same about tablets which obviously all have touch screens.

Yeah, I would expect that Matte on a touch-screen wouldn't work too well.

Asus zenbook flip ux360ua-ds51t

13.3"

Asus has done it again!!
...this system is on a clean coated matte and roughly 10-15% gloss, better screen than then Thinkpad yoga x1 gen1 soft gloss screen, and better than the Thinkpad yoga S1 ips 1080p screen.

It's F'n awesome... and 2-1, dude! Better than the Dell xps and $900 retail.

Touchpad is glossy, not my flavor, I like the xps 13" touchpad better. But overall, its got full USB, hdmi, USB C and extremely thin and light!

I see the reviews... don't see anything I would consider actual matte nor does anyone refer to it as such. Looks just as glossy as glass to me.

Are you saying the Asus zenbook flip ux360ua mentioned by fire400 does not have a matte touch screen? I believe it's mentioned in the description as being a matte touchscreen.

From the reviews, it looks like it is paired up with a factory anti glare protector.
Do all Asus zenbook flip models have this anti glare protector or is this specific to this model? Do you also have any links to those reviews which mention this protector? Thanks.
