Any lag issues running 13" rMBP at 2560x1600?

Do lag issues presents itself if running at 256x1600? Curious if all the scaling was causing the lag.

I was running the 15" rMBP at 2880x1800 and was exclusively using the integrated without seeing any lag issues, but not sure if the beefier CPU made up for it. Loved the resolution but the 15" was a bit too big for me and was avoiding the 13" because of the lag issues.
 
Mac mini hooked to the Cinema display (2560x1440, via Thunderbolt) lags. I don't know anything about how Cinema display works or whether it scales, but just throwing in my experience.
 
I too have the 15" Retina and no lag issues here. Since both the 15" and 13" have HD4000 graphics I doubt there would be much of a difference in daily use.

True, but as the review on anandtech shows, the FPS drops significantly when scrolling down a website, so could be the CPU with the scaling.

Upside is, so much more usable space and everything still stays crisp and sharp. I'm use to high pixel density screens with no scaling, did it with the 15" rMBP and use a 3840x2400 @ 21" on a daily basis.

Oh my god, I'd have to sit 10 inches away from it to be able to read anything lol

That's disappointing to hear as I just got a mac mini and was possibly thinking of picking up a thunder bolt ACD. Which mac mini do you have?
