any korean here? is there a program that convert from korean characters to konglish?

Is there any korean on this board that knows of a program that will convert from korean character to konglish? Let me know. Thanks.

Search on google.com for "Korean transliteration". You'll find a bunch of goodies there. Or, if you're using Word, you could write a macro that changes the Hangul to the accepted English equivalents, since they'll be pretty much the same, every time.

Or, you could just learn to read Hangul--- it's not that difficult. Only like 24 characters (English has 26), and the gulcha (Hangul characters) don't often change in pronunciation. I think someone said something like, "A wise man can learn Hangul in an hour, an fool can learn it in a week".

As a non-heritage (read: white guy from Ohio) learner of Korean Language, I can tell you that that is totally true. That is, learning to read and write the language. However, being able to understand what you can read is a different story entirely.

That aside, man, I hate reading things like "Annyeong Haseyo! Che irumun Skibby9 imnida. Songhami ottokay dwayshimnika?" Hell- I can't even type that way.
