PLEASE NO SPOILERS IN THIS THREAD!

Title says it all. I am about two thirds of the way through Follett's latest, "Fall of Giants", and am enjoying it throughly. This book is just under 1000 pages, and provides point of views from the UK, Russia, America, Germany, Welsh, etc. Fall of Giants is also the first in his Trilogy series. It starts out just before the breakout of WWI, and progresses through its history throughout the war.

For the most part, Follett writes Historical Fiction. I have read all of his other books as well.

If you enjoy Follett's books, can anyone recommend other author's of Historical Fiction?

Ken Follet's web site: http://www.ken-follett.com/ He also wrote the Pillars of The Earth books as well.

I just finished World Without End. I thought it was almost as good as Pillars of the Earth.
There is a discussion area on Amazon that has a bunch of topics on historic fiction. I might start Fall of Giants or A Dangerous Fortune next.

These were some of the better books, IMO. Of course, I loved just about every single one. He pays very close attention to being as historically accurate as possible. After each link is a short summary of the book, check 'em out!

"Lie Down With Lions" http://www.ken-follett.com/bibliography/lie_down_with_lions.html

"Jackdaws" http://www.ken-follett.com/bibliography/jackdaws.html

"Night over Water" http://www.ken-follett.com/bibliography/night_over_water.html

Still looking for more recommendations of quality historical fiction authors, thanks!
