Any Jack Johnson fans?

MrChad

I've been a big fan of his since I discovered Brushfire Fairytales. Has anyone picked up the new album yet? What do you think?

I heard it. It's Jack Johnson. I have to be in a rare mood to listen to him but he is a great musician.

I like him but he's slipped under the radar - doesn't seem to be doing/promoting any singles. His last album pretty much came and gone and no one seemed to notice. (I didn't like it as much as Brushfire)

The album is just alright. It's typical Jack Johnson. There are some gems in it though. He even plays the uke on one song.

I think I'm going to pick it up today. His style is a bit repetitive, but he is pretty talented. As dwell said, I have to be in a certain mood to listen to him.

One of my stoner friends just got me into Jack Johnson. Good music, have to be in a certain mood to listen to it though.

listened to some of it a few days ago. i like the version of 'breakdown' on the handsome boy modeling school cd rather than the version on this cd.

I don't think he has too much variety so its kind of liek you know what you are going to get. I'll pick it up eventually but its not going to blow me away. Another nice sunny day CD for hanging out.

I like Jack Johnson... On and On is probably my favorite album.

HOWEVER... Once you've heard one album, you've pretty much heard them all.

He'll be at the Tower Records in Sherman Oaks on Sat. at 7PM. He will also be performing and giving autographs to the first 250 purchasers of the cd.
