Got a A650IS and now dealing with SDHC and 4GB+ SD cards.

Only internal I can find is the CRW-UINW or CRW-UINB. I have a Sabrent now (SBT-ICR42W) and it doesn't seem these newer ones have the same quality based on reviews.

Anyone know a good internal reader?

Why don't you want an external one? They're great for whenever you're on the go.

Your link doesn't work and newegg has one that reads SDHC, the atech...some of those reviews are scary. I may have to bite the bullet on this one though.

I was hoping to find one in white as well.

I carry more media than I need to worry about downloading from :).

Sorry about that. I put the code for the link in backwards. It's fixed now. :p

The first two results on my original link have very good ratings, and the Super Talent also has an extra beige/white bezel.

I went with this: LINK

Still that first reader in that link is not a SDHC reader. The Sabrent has a lot of people stating failures though. I did order the white/beige version from Directron.

I will see how it goes. My current Sabrent has lasted a few years with reads/writes at least 2x a week.

Directron is shipping the non SDHC one...:(...ordered another from ANTOnline and switched the face plate.

It works fine but these types of clipon face plates are flimsy...my old sabrent was a solid molded box.

One other con is the SD card gets inserted upside down in this one (the other was right side up).

I don't know why I'm going to the trouble of removing the spam. Everyone is so good at recognizing it and ignoring it these days. Well, except to make fun of it. :) -Anandtech Moderator DrPizza

I've got the same camera alkemyst. Let me know how you like yours. So far I am very pleased.

I haven't really needed an external reader. I have one in my monitor, but it doesn't read sdhc. I have a 4 gig card in the camera, and carry a spare 2 gig card. Even shooting raw mode with chdk I haven't used all that up. When I get back to the house I just plug the camera in and empty the card through it.

But I suppose you've thought of all that. I think if you want an internal you'll end up with a multi-function panel that has usb and f/w ports as well (at least). I recall seeing one that was just a card reader on newegg, but not much else.

Dear friend,

Thanks for your enquiry.

we can accept in bulk, but you know if the quantity is less, such as several pieces, then their cost with shipping charge will be too much,

then it will be not cost-efficient,right? maybe you buy them more cheaper in your country. Do you think?

We are manufacturer for main wholesale, because internal card reader is low profit products, then it need big quantity to operate and support.

Please kindly note it and keep in touch by <link removed>
Thanks all

aw, come on Doc. I was going to ask him to post a pic of himself in front of a pallet full of USB card reader and holding a sign saying "I sell in bulk"
