This simply look sliek an amazing piece of hardware. It's EXACTLY what I've been scouring for for months and there it is. Sadly I can not find tentative release dates, and ta hell if I can get to anybody at Turtle Beach that will even give me a hint...

I need info on this or SOMETHING like it!
 
yeah looks cool, when are they makin one for the car that pulls mp3's from a radio station and stores em to a media you can transfer to the pc?
 
Wait. Lemme get this straight ... the only way you can use this thing is if you have networked you house via the phone lines? The only thing it is doing is FTPing and decoding files in hardware? Hmmm.

Right now, I am using a S/PDIF output from my sound card and running the signal into my DVD receiver. Outside of moving the decoding off my CPU, it doesn't seem to offer much more of an advantage.

well the MAIN point for me is that I dont have to be at my PC to play the songs. The audiotron is the part you control. THis way my home server box can sit down in the basement or in the closet or wherever and I can access all the mp3's from it via this box which is connected to my main home entertainment center in the living room.

I'm not sure on the netowrking though.. they are going to have an ethernet adapter for it too I guess (USB also)
Hopefully the ethernet will be available... I'm sure your ENTIRE home netowrk doesn't need to be the home phone line kind...
