Any info on safe voltages for Sandy Bridge?

Intel has apparently published a maximum figure of 1.52v vCore. Something about that seems off to me, since I've heard reports of that being SB's absolute maximum selectable voltage.

My 2500K has yet to break 60C while Linpacking, so I'm not concerned with temperatures.

I want to avoid any voltage-related degradation of my CPU, though. I very seriously doubt a 2500K at 1.52v would last very long, even if it was chilled.

From your recent post I can understand why that would seem off to you. I personnally have set my limit at 1,38V On my gamer I am very pleased with those settings. On my browser all i want is 4.ghz and that was done at stock V. Dang sorry . I confused you with another.
