Any info on Red dead Redemption coming to PC?

Just curious...

I'm about to cave and finally buy it for PS3, but would prefer to play on PC if it EVER comes out.



That being said, GTA IV to this day still requires me to use the "no restrictions" target hack to let me play with graphics cranked. On my system below, it forces me with newest patch even to play at 800*600 due to "near max resources being used"

Doubt it. Rockstar is working on LA Noire, albeit it probably being a different team.

It usually takes them a year or so before they port their games to the PC. But as you noted, their ports are generally terrible and run poorly on systems that should easily handle the games. It's a shame because I'd love to show my support for PC gaming and buy it but it's like they're intentionally hamstringing us by putting out those shitty ports.

Even if it did come out for pc, which is iffy, I will stick to the console version. I learned my lesson with GTA IV, a "title update" that killed mods and all my saves was what convinced me never to buy rockstar ports.

Just looked up this "LA Noire". A murder mystery in a simulated 40's LA? Sounds great...but once again not on the PC
