Any inexpensive NAS devices allow concurrent USB and Ethernet connections?

Hi,

I'd like to use an external HDD as both a USB drive to my Xbox and a NAS on my network.

In other words, be able to access the music and pics through USB to my Xbox 360, and at the same time be able to access all the files on the HDD through my laptop.

Any suggestions? Issues with this type of config?

I don't believe so.

If you can that would be ideal, but I cannot find any info on it and several chaps in OT said it ws impossible.

I have one of the new U. S. Robotics USR8700 NAS boxes, and it has both GB Ethernet and USB 2.0 ports. The primary connection to your network is through the GB NIC, but you can attach two external USB drives to the box and access them through the network as well. The box sells for less than $500, and you can put your own array of drives, as you may want. I have 4x500GB drives in a RAID 5 array, and it works great.

Sounds like what I'm looking for, albeit with a smaller price tag.
