I am about to buy a new keyboard/mouse and am going wireless. Are there any illumniated wireless keyboards out there?

I'm going to blurt out my guess of No. One more thing to shrink battery time is not what a manufacturer thinks their customers want.

I don't know of any, but my thoughts have always been that keyboards really don't need to be wireless or illuminated (the back-lit keyboards offer more of a bling factor than a practical advantage) unless you're thinking extensive HTPC use...

if you're at a desk the wire really doesn't get in the way and you can always get a small led lamp to light up the keys if you're that much of a recluse - besides, working in such poor light as to justify lit keys is horrible for your eyesight anyways...

It is technically possible - luminescent keys like the numbers on a watch dial. But - as suggested above - the tiny marklet would prpobably not justify the development and production cost.

A wireless keyboard illuminated by a tiny LED flashlight might work. :)
